Meet Nicole. She is an 8th grader in the Lakeview School District, carries a 4.0 GPA, and strives to excel at everything she does. Nicole has worked to overcome her shyness and has made significant strides in her public speaking abilities. She has also actively developed her social skills as she recognizes the value of true friendships. Nicole is quick to volunteer and helps not only with Legacy Scholars, but also with 4-H, as a Zoo Teen at Binder Park Zoo, and at the Battle Creek Charitable Union. She is active in sports including soccer, softball, track, and swimming. Nicole has a love for animals and is resolved to attend Michigan State’s Veterinarian program to become a veterinarian.
